Hey Guys ,I've done every thing right i downloaded the plugin from the link down below and then wrote the password "www.4download.net" to zip the file then i had that prob that gave me to choice in fl studio that to click "okay or Help" in both cases it takes me to the Wepsite so u need to block the site from the host in ur computer and if u don't how u can open the file that u zipped and see the note and block the host by this video"(https://youtu.be/xM60R9dWYUI?si=n8vZz3vZQw1mvIwO )" then it says another problem that "This machine is not net authorized for serm 2" I stopped at this problem It asks to verify my computer From another device and if i did it it will take me to the wep again what should i do?

were the two links *properly* blocked in the { hosts } and the file saved? highly recommend yall watch the vid if you didnt.

blocking the sites in { hosts }, is (to my knowledge) what allows the license to work. applications like this tend to "phone home" to verify the license, blocking the addresses stops this.

it would make sense that people restarting their daw/computer allows the license to take effect then. (my thought is that even though the file is saved, for it to take effect on peoples computers, some sort of restart needs to take place.)

(think of changing the language in an app on your phone, for bigger apps, it usually prompts you to restart the app for the change to take place.
the opposite, per say, might be deleting a drum kit in your files on your computer, but its still on fl until the browser is refreshed. **if that makes any sense lmao**)

when i downloaded the crack, i didn't restart my computer, but i had closed the FL instance i already had opened and opened up a new one, which is why I had no issues.

ALSO

i seen someone else (idk hes js named "bruh" on here) recommending to try also turning your internet off before selecting the license. i dont remember doing that myself ive had trash internet this whole winter so far, so that kinda checks out too lmaoo

AS FOR OPENING THE ZIP

i would recommend downloading WinRAR. free & works great for me, no issues, just gotta close the pop up asking you to pay for winrar. super trusted by like 90% of the internet (its been around for 30 years lol)

download file (as of writing, only the onedrive link works)

unzip (password: www.4download.net)

run the installer { Install_Xfer_Serum2_2.0.23 }

let everything download to its default locations (to my knowledge, aax isnt needed if you dont use pro tools)

in the package { Xfer Records Serum v2.0.23 (Revision) -X- }, there will be a VST3 file titled { Serum2 }

bring { Serum2 } to [C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\Serum2.vst3\Contents\x86_64-win]

*** if you are ever stopped along the way and told a folder already exists with the same name (or sum like that) rename { Serum2 }. I simply renamed it { Serum 2 }, but anything works, just change it back after it is in \x86_64-win. ***

once you bring it there, you should be given the option to replace the file in the destination -- click yes

BUT, basically,

click the windows icon and search for notepad. click "run as administrator", then "yes" when it asks for it to make changes.

in the top left, click file, then open

go to [C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc]

in the bottom left of the file explorer, click on [Text Documents (*.txt)]

click [All Files]

there will be a file titled { hosts }

open it

at the bottom of the file, hit enter a few times (will help keep clean if you need this file some other time in the future)

copy & paste the following string of code into there:


127.0.0.1 xferrecords.com
127.0.0.1 info@xferrecords.com


then, click file, save.

after this, open your daw

add/scan for Serum 2 (if you don't know how to add/scan for plugins/vsts, watch this tutorial: https://youtu.be/EUZlPn02Vj8?si=2xsQrQwcon3lyCbv&t=51 )

click the plus button in the channel rack. if you clicked the star, Serum 2 will show up here. click on it to open

once you do, you will be asked for a license

i lwk forget the button, but the once on the left should allow you to go through your computer to find the license

go to the original file you downloaded { Xfer Records Serum v2.0.23 (Revision) -X- }

there should be a file titled { serum2.lic }

open the file

and if you have done all of this correctly, you will now have Serum 2 on your computer!

for me, the window size is too large to make smaller (solution one on the following will do for now, but if yall got better solutions so i can resize the actual vst lmk: https://flstudiofans.com/make-plugins-smaller-or-bigger-fl-studio/ )

Chicos! me funciono, hice tal cual los pasos pero algunos son confusos pero funciono, los ayudo:as
1: instalar el paquete que descargaron
2: reemplazar el archivo VST3 original por el parchado que tambien incluye lo que descargaron, aqui es donde se volvio confuso por que no especifica donde se encuentra pero esta en: C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\Serum2.vst3\Contents\x86_64-win

y listo luego de hacer todos esos pasos RECIEN lo agregue en mi caso al FL studio, lo seleccionan y apenas les abra les pedira la licencia, le dan en buscar en su computadora y seleccionan la que incluye la descarga, y eso seria todo, a mi me funciona todo 10/10
