They mixed up the preset and samples folder. When you download your package, remember to go inside, and first go to "Samples", where you will see N5 Factory Preset, it contains .fxp files. Swap it with "Presets", which has the folder ROM5, which contains .nxs files. Then, rename both folders, so now you have the .nxs in the samples and the .fxp in the presets.

Then finally remember to move all this to: /Library/Audio/Presets/reFX/Nexus library/Presets/

You may need to manually create the reFX folder and so on. It took me 5 hours to figure out, hope this helps someone.

solucionado para un disco externo:Ubicación de la librería:

Confirmar que la carpeta de contenido en el disco externo está en la ruta raíz correcta:

/Volumes/ALMACEN/Nexus 5 Content

Crear Alias de macOS (Finder):

En lugar de usar comandos de Terminal, hacer clic derecho sobre la carpeta Nexus 5 Content en el disco ALMACEN y seleccionar Crear alias. Colocar dicho alias o acceso directo en la ruta correspondiente de usuario.

Editar la ruta en settings.json:

Abrir /Users/Shared/reFX/nexus/settings.json y actualizar la propiedad library_folder con la ruta directa sin subcarpetas intermedias:

Resultado:

Nexus 5 reconoce automáticamente los Folders (con más de 1,100 presets oficiales), carga las muestras de audio pesadas directamente desde el disco secundario y deja el SSD interno completamente libre.

N5 Factory Presets contiene archivos. fxp. el motor de Nexus 5 ignora completamente esos archivos que pertenecen a nexos 1 y 2
