FLEX CRASH ISSUE fix for me

if you have installed it you need to clean it , uninstall delete the fl 2026 folder

in program/image-line/ and delete fl2026

to install :

in the FL_Studio_26.1.1.5547-WD folder

dont copy the plugins folder

and the the reg file

and you good enjoy

      That'll make the FLEX folder appear where it needs to be to install the FLEX expansion pack

no fl 26 is a separate install you will have 20 & 26

just re-scan your plugins attach any folders you need in file settings

ran into some flex crash issues myself today (didn't touch a thing)

but.. i'm all gd now if you are affected with similar issues here's what i did..

un-install start clean

exclude the following folders from detection from anti v

1. Image-Line - FL Studio Producer Edition v26.1.1 folder

2. then go to FL_Studio_26.1.1.5547-WD/plugins/fruity/generators/

(block the flex folder)

For anybody who is getting Flex crashing on execution, reinstall FL and do not copy the plugins folder into the new FL; only copy FL64, FL64 (scaled), and the FLengine D.LL, then use the registration key, and it should work. It worked for me

it aint the flex bro i did everything and every step u said correctly its the optional features gang

So idk what the problem could be with how i installed it, but i uninstalled it and reinstalled and after everything it still tells me that it's locked and i need to unlock it. idk if u can make a video because the videos don't really help with this type of file if that makes any sense.

    once you install fl26 go to the fl26 wd folder highlight all 4 items and right click and copy them
    
    now on your desktop you will have fl26 shortcut..right click this go to open file location
    
    now paste the 4 items you copied here.. when prompted select replace all
    
    now go back to your install folder you will see fl26 reg file (white & blue icon) double click it just ok everything
    
    you should be good
    
    test it out

I excluded all dll from antiv in flex folder and had disabled it during installation too. when i click on system info inside the flex folder, it shows some component is corrupted. I tried installing 3 times and repeating steps, the issue is the same.

For those who wanted to change Registered Name can do it via Text Editor such as Notepad and the likes. Just right-click, "Open with...", and use your Text Editor.

I downloaded and installed the FL Studio Producer v26.1.1 Build 5547 All Plugins Edition but it Demo, i checked the video on the comment section but the video is unavailable

Hey man, I’ve got a very specific problem with Flex. I’ve tried everything to get it working, but it won't open. I’m not sure if I handled the .dll file correctly regarding the antivirus—all I did was exclude it from scanning. Did I do that right?

  For anybody who is getting Flex crashing on execution, reinstall FL and do not copy the plugins folder into the new FL; only copy FL64, FL64 (scaled), and the FLengine D.LL, then use the registration key, and it should work. It worked for me

Now that I think about it, why do you say the path is `FL_26 WD FOLDER/PLUGINS/FRUITY/GENERATORS/FLEX`? The installation videos show that after cutting all the files from that folder, only the "plugins" folder remains, and *that* needs to be moved into "system"—but *not* the "FL_26 WD FOLDER" itself. Please explain that part clearly to me. What about the DLL file that was inside that folder? (Yes, it's the Flex engine DLL; I've already copied it to `packs/flex/packs` and `generators/flex`, etc., and I've even blocked the file in my antivirus for all those paths, yet I'm still getting an error.) Help, please!

For all those with FLEX issues:
1) be sure you're using the ADMIN account (not a common user) !
2) install FL Studio 2026 for ALL the users (not for the current one only) !

All the FLEX packages (old & new, paid & free) work just fine in this 26.1 version.
Just pay attention where you put all the FLEX files:
flex2pack, flexpack, ini & preset files in c:\Program Files\Image-Line\FL Studio 2026\Data\Patches\Packs\FLEX\Packs\
You will need internet connection to download the JPG files for them in
c:\Users\<username>\Documents\Image-Line\Data\FLEX\Images\
The data.json file will be updated in that folder as well.

Be sure you launch the FL Studio 2026 (see the icon options) as ADMIN!
have fun (because everything works just fine).

      I think you have either corrupted files or it's looking for packs that aren't there
      
      Try copying all inside this folder
      
      C:/users/username/documents/flex/packs

Bro, same here, the reg file I want to modify won't change, even though I've disabled everything. I managed to unlock it once, but Flex crashed, lol. Problem after problem.

The FLEX Packs folder contains both paid and free files, but I’m unable to load the paid ones (such as Drift Phonk and Hypertrance); only the free ones work.

For instance, when I open the Hypertrance file, it appears to be Hypertrance on the surface, but it actually loads instruments from Arksun Cityscape (AC is Free Pack) instead.

If there's no other solution, I guess I'll have to give up.

I've tested it, and it experiences occasional instability, particularly regarding the sound. There are no resource-heavy plugins active, and the load bar at the top indicates nothing abnormal, yet the audio is glitching. I use the MOTU M2 as my sound card.

I tried opening the same project in the previous version of FL Studio, and it runs perfectly!

Therefore, I don't recommend updating for the moment. Especially since we are advised to uninstall the old version. PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK!

when you installed did you have your anti v disabled ?

(if not please un-install-re-install with anti v disabled and re-enable once done )

also if onedrive is a part of the installation path remove it.

Every time i try to launch fl studio after doing all the steps, it says, "Your Internet security settings prevented one or more files from being opened." and the file they're talking about is the FL64.exe file. Keep in mind that i already replaced the fl64 file with the one in the WD folder. Can someone pls help me fix this?

Nvm i figured it out. If any of y'all are experiencing issues about internet security settings blocking the FL64.exe file, right click on the desktop icon and go to open file location. Right click on the FL64.exefile and go down to properties. Then, you should see something at the bottom that says Unblock. Check the box next to Unblock and try opening the application again. If it opens, you're welcome.

First , disable windows anti virus ... then after instalation able it again

Remove the previous version (this is only a recommendation; it's up to you).

If you use OneDrive, temporarily disable it during the installation.

(When installing FL Studio with OneDrive enabled, OPTIONS > File Settings > User data folder may be set to an incorrect path.)

Install FL Studio.

Copy all the contents of the FL_Studio_26.1.0.5530-WD folder to:

C:\Program Files\Image-Line\FL Studio 2026

and replace the existing files.

Note:

If, during the FL Studio installation, you chose a different installation directory (for example, on another drive), replace the files in the folder where the program was actually installed, not in the path shown in step 2.

Run the FL Studio 26.1.reg file and confirm that you want to add the changes to the Windows Registry.

pretty sure when you replace the files you can leave out replacing the plugins. That seemed to work for me
