    Despite carefully following all the installation steps, I am encountering an issue with the second patch. An error message appears: ‘Error changing ownership of WavesLicenseEngine.bundle to 0’, which forces the application to close.

    Strangely, the Waves plugins work fine in PreSonus Studio One. However, in Logic Pro, the VST interface remains completely black when launched instead of displaying the selected VST. My setup is a Mac mini M4. Do you have a solution to fix this problem for Logic Pro?"

      There's still no patch for macOS 26 Tahoe/Waves Ultimate v16. It's likely some cracker will release a patch in February or the following months.

    this doesn't work, waaayyy too much extra headache to go through just to have a small chance of hope of this working at all, if you are considering this, just forget about it

    I successfully installed it on my MacBook Pro M1. All you need to do is disable Gatekeeper with sudo spctl --master-disable.

    I found a video that helped me as a mac user ( I have a m4 silicon macbook pro). this video is for windows, but it's the same for mac. I was able to install it and it works perfectly.

      Nah man... I followed it, and it didn't work. I'm on M4 silicon as well and it didn't work. The patch seems to be damaged. Give me a head up on my email if you're able to help with this.

    FOLLOW THESE STEPS EXACTLY:

    In Finder, right-click the Waves patcher file

    Click Show Package Contents

    Open Terminal

    Type:

    sudo


    (just the word sudo and a space — don’t press Enter yet)

    Drag and drop the Waves Ultimate patch file into the Terminal window

    Press Return/Enter

    Enter your Mac password (you won’t see it typing — that’s normal)

    Wait for “process complete”

    If it does not work:

    Try the other two patch files located in the same folder

    Use the same sudo + space + drag-and-drop method

    Try the ARM version and the x86 version

    One of these should work on an M1 Mac Studio

    AFTER APPLYING PATCH

    Follow these steps in order:

    1. Reboot Your Mac

    Click the Apple menu

    Select Restart

    Wait for your Mac to fully reboot

    2. Run the AU Reg Utility

    Open Finder

    Go to Applications

    Open the folder named Waves
    (Not “Waves Central**)

    Inside the Waves folder, open WaveShell V16

    Double-click Waves AU Reg Utility 16

    Let it scan and register your plugins

    When it completes, close the window

    show content by right clicking waves patcher, open terminal, type sudo then space, drag and drop waves ultimate patch, press return enter password. should say proccess complete when properly done. if not working try the other 2 files in the same loction using the same sudo space command (osx arm and 86) this worked on M1 mac studio

    if these is like the last several waves updates then you need to download and run the patcher after installing. it should be on AZ. should work easy.

    If using M1 or Higher i fixed this by opening Logic with Rosetta (right click logic, Get info, Open with Rosetta)
