REISEI is a mastering plugin from ONRI Audio built around a simple idea: keep the entire mastering process visible in one place. Its analyzer, EQ, dynamics, stereo processing, saturation, and limiter work together on a single screen, allowing engineers to make decisions while keeping the overall sound in view.

The name REISEI (冷静, pronounced “ray-say”) refers to a calm, steady mind—a fitting concept for a mastering tool focused on restraint and clarity.

Six Processing Sections

REISEI combines six main processing areas:

• PARTIAL EQ — Works with the harmonics already present in the source, alongside a conventional EQ section with five EQ models.
• DE-DYN — Provides two independent dynamic band processors for tasks such as de-essing and resonance control. Its SP ADAPT mode can follow moving resonances across a selected frequency region.
• WIDE — Combines stereo widening and mono-focused processing, with controls for shaping the stereo image directly from the analyzer.
• COMP & SAT — Offers program-dependent compression and 15 saturation models across five groups, with controls for harmonic balance, drive behavior, and saturation bandwidth.
• MASTER LIMITER — Includes four limiter modes: STANDARD, PRESSURE, SMOOTH, and CLEAN, plus an IMPACT control, true-peak detection, dither, gain-reduction history, and loudness metering.
• One-Screen Analyzer — The FFT analyzer also acts as the main control surface, allowing EQ bands, processing points, and markers to be manipulated directly over the displayed spectrum.

Designed for Detailed Mastering Work

REISEI is intended for engineers who want detailed control rather than a simplified one-knob mastering solution. Individual modules can be enabled or bypassed, and the processing sections can also be used independently on individual tracks.

The interface includes up to 999 undo steps, A/B/C/D comparison slots, UNITY level matching, module-specific SOLO controls, and click-free switching between processing models.

Its L/R signal architecture keeps the master path anchored in conventional stereo while its WEIGHT controls provide access to Mid and Side elements within individual processing moves.
