If a kit refuses to load and says your player version is too old, you can fix it by editing the version requirement file.

Steps:

Go to your installed EZX library folder.

Find the file called Aversion.

Open it with a text editor (Notepad, Notepad++, etc.).

Inside the file you’ll see something like:

1.0.0
minreq EZ 3.1.2
minreq S 3.4.1

minreq EZ = minimum version required for EZdrummer

minreq S = minimum version required for Superior Drummer

Change the version numbers to your current version or lower.

Example:

1.0.0
minreq EZ 3.1.0
minreq S 3.4.0

Save the file.

Now copy and paste the EZX kit folder into:
C:\ProgramData\Toontrack\EZDrummer 3

Now reopen the plugin and the kit should load normally.
