MIDI Transformations and Generators: Use MIDI Transformations to add ornaments and articulations, draw acceleration and deceleration curves, connect successive notes and chords, and simulate the strum of a guitar. Take advantage of MIDI Generators that let you conjure up playful and original ideas for you to develop and turn into your own. And go even further with advanced Max for Live Transformations and Generators.

Sound Similarity: Start with a sample and tell Live’s browser to find comparable sounds and instrument or drum presets – with the help of a set of advanced machine learning algorithms. Or use Sound Similarity to find and swap comparable samples in Simpler or Drum Rack.

Tuning systems: Work outside 12-tone equal temperament, and use your chosen tuning with Live’s devices as well as any MPE-capable plugin or hardware.

    Ok i have 2 problems:
    - First one, when i'm replacing the original "Live" with the patched one, I can't open Ableton because the file is damaged. I tried with and without the "codesign" part.
    - Second one, when i'm dragging the authorize.auz, i have the "some products could not be authorised due to an internal error"

    Someone have a tip?

    Guys i figured it out! a greading work around but it works.

    yes you'll need a extra windows partition, or laptop or computer.

    DL Ableton for windows. it comes with the keygen.


    Do the steps on this install for mac

    Don't screw with python, that was a nightmare.


    Instaed, get your HW code.

    Go on the windows, run the KGen

    enter your hardware code.

    Get the auz file, bring it back to your mac. Drag it on ableton and done.

    But do the patch thing first so it works and make sure on settings you have updates off and all that.

      Basically;
      1) Open the script file in finder
      2) CMD + A on the script to copy it
      3) Go onto 'Google Collab' Online
      4) New Workspace - Paste in the code script
      5) Click 'run all'
      6) Google Collab will ask for a hardware number, this is found in Ableton, after clicking 'no internet on this computer' in the Authorisation request window.
      7) Enter the hardware number found above, into Google Collab
      8) It should download a .auz authorisation file.

      The main issue is, like others, I'm getting the "some products could not be authorised due to an internal error" message, even after already having my authorisation code

        The "some products could not be authorised due to an internal error" happens because while you are installing and opening for the first time. Ableton live 12 is set to auto update. so the first time while you open it, it already is connecting and patching which is why you receive these errors. everything else you explained was perfect.
        So install it again and do everything while your device is disconnected completely to the internet. I hope this helps! good luck !

    the keygen file did not work until i modified it
    I removed lines pertaining to the google.colab dependency and formatting that requires google colab(the line with the !)

        how did you get the code to run properly in terminal when I run the code it says "codesign: No such file or directory". I also think you need to add an ! mark before each line of code in the intructions
