Frustum is based on a hybrid wavetable and sampler engine, that comes with around 700 MB of wavetables and samples. It features envelope control, reversed sample playback and effects to "spice up" things easily. These include for example "Scatter" and "Soil" to randomly detune and add FM-like distortion to the sounds. A "Chop" effect can be used to rhythmically modulate the currently loaded preset.

In addition to that, Frustum comes with a global algorithmic reverb and a master filter. Furthermore, it does support full host (DAW) midi learning and automation as well, and has been designed for very low CPU and RAM usage.
