Laboga Mr. Hector Suite
Experience a new standard in boutique, handcrafted Laboga amplifier simulations. The legendary Mr. Hector has been entirely rebuilt using our advanced DriveNET Neural Network Modeling engine, meticulously capturing not only the gain structure, tone stack, and speaker cabinet responses but also the subtle interactions between channel volumes and authentic power-amp dynamics relative to preamp settings.
Pedal Section
- Custom voiced overdrive - Matched, not just another typical TS808 clone.
- OctaFuzz pedal – Bold, gritty fuzz character.
- Crunch Booster - engineered to enhance clarity and brightness without introducing harsh or unpleasant frequencies.
- 6-Band Input EQ – Focus your tone before hitting the amp.
Two Amps – Two Distinct Characters
Mr. Hector
Ultra-high-gain amp with tight lows, aggressive tone, and 100W output. Two channels with shared EQ, Bright and Mid switches for shaping tone from vintage crunch to modern metal. Selectable tube or diode rectifier for either saggy compression or tight response
The Beast
Three-channel 30W amp with four EL84 tubes. Clean and Crunch share controls but offer distinct tones—from sparkling clean to vintage-style breakup. Drive channel delivers modern high-gain tones with Bass, Treble, and a Mid Switch for added versatility. Unique “Character” knob on Clean/Crunch shapes a wide range of tones via a simplified tone stack. Mid Switch revoices the Drive channel EQ for classic or tighter response.
Cabinet Section
- 6 cabinets modeled.
- 6 speaker types: V30, Creamback, MT77, Veteran 30, Deamon, CV75.
- 4 mic options per cab.
- Full cab/mic control for tone shaping
- SpeakerX
SpeakerX is a real-time DSP engine that simulates the nonlinear behavior of guitar speakers using advanced physical modeling techniques based on Klippel’s nonlinear loudspeaker analysis and a proprietary sandwich architecture. It recreates the authentic "speaker tone" by adding subtle, natural coloration that makes the signal sound more musical and lifelike. Instead of a flat, sterile digital sound, SpeakerX delivers a rich, spatial character – as if you’re hearing your guitar through a mic’d cabinet in a room. The engine also models diffraction effects, further enhancing realism and depth in the tone.
