The R2R file in the mac version is of windows pls fix it.

Just sharing my experience in case it helps other members.

✓ MacBook Pro M3 Pro / macOS Sequoia

✓ Opened Waves Central 16 and installed from the V17 package.

✓ All of my existing V16 plugins were automatically upgraded to V17.

✓ At first, I didn't even need to reinstall the patch.

⚠ New plugins that I had never installed before showed installation failures.

✓ After restarting my Mac and reinstalling the patch, every plugin worked perfectly.

⚠ Cosmos was the only plugin asking for a license initially.

Final working method for me:

→ Install all plugins you need.
→ If necessary, install while online.
→ Apply the V.R patch.
→ Apply the Giuseppe patch.
→ Restart your Mac.
→ Run Waves AU Reg Utility.
→ Open your DAW and let it scan the plugins.

✓ Result: Everything is now working perfectly, including Cosmos.

★ Huge thanks to Giuseppe, V.R, and the team.

Hope this helps other Mac M-series users running Waves Ultimate V17 on Sequoia.

Please upload a version compatible with my MacBook Pro i7 because it won't let me install it. It always has problems; it doesn't download everything, it always tells me to restart, and it won't let me install any more plugins. What can I do? 

Never mind, this time when I downloaded it every preset works. If you have a problem where the presets don't load, you should delete previous xfer/serum2 files and then re-extract and install. If that doesn't work just use zenology.

Most of the presets in serum doesn't load, most likely because I didn't download the Serum v2.1.2 update though.

Install VocAlignPro.msi and wait until the installation process is fully completed.

Open the CFiles64 folder included in the package.

Copy the provided file(s) from the CFiles64 folder.

Navigate to the software installation directory and replace the existing file(s) with the copied one(s).

If Windows requests administrator permission while replacing files, click Continue or Yes.

Yes, that's all.

Simply drag and drop the included .vst3 file into your VST3 plugins folder and the .aax file into your AAX plugins folder.

After that, restart your DAW and rescan your plugins if necessary.

What do I do, I did follow every step.

Ok, so I've downloaded all the Steam folders. Where do I put them? What is the process? Should I combine them into a single folder, or just put them in the main Steam folder from the original DL? A little help would be appreciated.

Check my instructions below, you will bypass the need for the R2R system by using old license keys from a previous version. The keys are useable for the most recent release of the bundle. That is how I activated my FabFilter vsts a couple weeks ago. It's a lot easier than hunting down the R2R system software.

so the problem is that i have the steam folder on my c drive and then library on the d drive 
so maybe because of that it my vst says "Its not valid for the steam folder"

📁 Step 1 — Create an Installation Folder
Create a new empty folder anywhere on your drive.

⚠️ Important:

The folder name and path must NOT contain Cyrillic characters.
The folder must be writable.
Do NOT install inside Program Files.
Example:

D:\Kontakt8Portable\

 
📦 Step 2 — Extract the Portable Package
Run:

KontaktPortable_v890.exe

Then:

Click Browse...
Select the empty folder you created.
Click Extract
Wait until extraction is complete.

 
🎹 Step 3 — Launch Kontakt 8 PORTABLE
Open Kontakt from the extracted folder.

On the first launch, Library Manager will automatically:

✅ Scan Factory Content
✅ Detect Previously Installed Libraries
✅ Scan Windows Registry Entries

After scanning is finished:

Click SAVE
Close Library Manager
Restart Kontakt
 
🔍 If Libraries Are Missing
You can manually trigger a library scan at any time.

Press:

Alt + Insert

Method B
Library Manager Menu:

ADD → Quick Search

After the scan:
