When you open the .rar you have to download the Serum package (If you have had Serum 2 installed before, first uninstall all the files from the computer), after you installed the package you have to extract the "VR.nfo" into the same file folder you have Serum 2 installed in. After that, open the patch (If it won't let you open, go to Settings->Privacy & Security and you sdcroll down to Privacy and find the patch file, then click "Open Anyway"), then go through the patch installer and you should be good to go. After installing just put 'Serum-2.0.16-osx-patch' into the same file that you have installed serum 2 into and then open 'Serum-2.0.16-osx-patch'.

also after doing the process which you have said to do in mac.Even after locating the STEAM folder in the removable disc.Its still not able to locate and after sometime its showing challenge code and response code. what's all that.

When you've opened with rar opener you should have pkg file (serum itself) an n0 white file and a patch file but when you install pkg it usually puts those files in the bin so take out the bin and double click on patch file to install it, then you'll be able to use it
