    And when I run the standalone it doesn’t even say that I should find the steam folder It just says that the library and the files for omni 3 aren’t found

      1.Install omnisphere 3  (DON'T OPEN YET)

      2. Unpack Omnisphere v3 Core Library [STEAM] somewhere on your pc. 

      **when you extract the first file put the rest of the other 5 extracted files in it 

      so all in one folder**

      (if any issues with extracting  files just say YES TO ALL)

      3. run omnisphere 3 standalone from desktop shortcut 

      4.it will ask to find steam folder (go to wherever you you installed  Omnisphere v3 Core Library [STEAM])

      it should say link successful 

      5.run omnisphere 3 on daw.

    Hello can somebody help me when i extract the library it automatically just puts everything in one file and I’m stuck there when I run the standalone I says that the data wasn’t found and is it a porblem when I already have installed the Omnisphere 2 or do I need to delete it?

    UPDATE: 

    I've reinstalled Omnisphere and the standalone version now works. But when I open Omnisphere within my DAW, it gives the following messages: 

    “An installed factory patch library requires a newer version of omnisphere. Visit the spectrasonics website to check for upadates.”

    and also:

    “Cannot read data. Upgrade your spectrasonics software to newst version tu use this data.”

    Can anyone help me to fix this, please?

      U NEED OMNI 2

      that's why it says "Cannot read data. Upgrade your spectrasonics software to newst version to use this data.” 

      because the omni 3 library  pt 1-6

      think of it as 3 are omni 2 packs & 3 are omni3 packs .. right 

      so if you boot up omni3 **WITHOUT omni 2 installed  your gonna get

          NSTALL OMNI 2  HERE (NEED uTorrent)

          IDEALLY..

          1 install omni2>launch standalone>when asked to find library click CANCEL

          ok everything else and close. (bin the omni 2 shortcut you dont need it now)

          2 install omni3

          3.download omni 3 library

          4 open standalone omni3 locate your omni3 library  should link successfully 

          5 open in daw

      Antes de instalar la versión 3, debe desinstalar la versión anterior, si la tenía instalada.

    I followed the entire procedure and everything seemed to be working fine, but the problem is that when I launch the Omnisphere program, it tells me that the Stylus RMX is not updated and that I need to update it through the Spectrasonics website. Could the kind administrators at 4download or someone else tell me how to fix this? Thanks everyone, this site is an amazing resource.
