      What are you trying to open?

      The installer .exe or FL Studio itself?

      If it's the installer, I would assume it's either Windows Defender or your antivirus removing the file as all cracked software is going to flag up.

      If that's the case then you'll have to disable them before opening the installer. (you can turn them back on once it has installed).

      I recommend reading my previous comments to minimise the risks involved when installing such files.

    This is for anyone wondering if this is a virus. The only thing that has flagged up with AVG & Malwarebytes is the installer which is normal. I installed it on a virtual machine and ran extensive tests (one taking 9 hours to complete) and nothing has been detected after the installation and the removal of the installation files. The reg key is not needed, it has installed a licenced producer version as stated. The virtual machine was running with conditions of no internet access and there were connection attempts made but I'm sure they were just normal FL Studio files such as the store, the "what's new" section and update checks but I cannot confirm 100%. It has been 24 hours since the install and so far there have been no signs of my PC being infected or any of my accounts being hacked. I will keep this running inside the virtual machine for about 1 week to be safe before taking it out. If anything concerning comes up, I will update this post. Feel free to ask me questions here, I will likely be monitoring this post for the next week or more.

    If you are considering downloading this, please be aware of the potential risks involved such as having ALL of your accounts being hacked and having sensitive data on your PC, emails & social media being stolen. I am not an expert when it comes to viruses / malware so I advise you do conduct your own research & scans for any files that you download.

    It is good practice to install any suspicious files with no internet access to prevent data being sent out, or communicating with an attacker. It also prevents malware from being spread on your network to other devices. I would highly recommend doing this since you will likely need to disable your antivirus to install the files. Once it has installed, run a full system scan with no internet access to remove any potential threats. If the only "threat" was in the installer and nothing else, then it is quite likely that there is nothing else to worry about.

      Thank you for taking the time and doing this. The version on Rutracker "FL Studio 25.2.4.5242 KpoJluK" has malicious malware that attempted to steal all my passwords. I'll keep checking back for your updates.

        This is slightly concerning. A lot of people have said Rutracker is pretty safe, but I have not personally used it and after doing some research on KpoJluK, he seems to have quite a few repacks. I've seen one post about him being accused of putting "miners" in his repacks but other people have said they have had quite a few repacks from him and they are all safe and are working.

        How did it attempt to steal your passwords? Was it just flagged up by an antivirus stating it was Malware for stealing data? Was you getting sign in attempts on Google etc or was your PC accessed remotely?

          I downloaded FL Studio from Rutracker. In the ten years that I've used Rutracker I never had a single problem. Checked with Kaspersky and it told me it was safe. After I installed and used the program for 20 minutes, I noticed that I could not rename files or folders anywhere in my computer. I was like "huh, how strange". I just thought it was some random windows bug. After I restarted I launched Chrome and it told me that a third party application attempted to change my settings, one of them being my pinned tabs. Then I noticed that I was logged out of every single website, all my cookies were cleared. Also, all my saved passwords inside Chrome were gone. Found this really strange because it has never happened before even once. This thing was waiting for me to login again. Checked and noticed I had enough disk space, running out of space may sometimes delete your cookies. The malware could've been more clever, if it would have waited a few days before activating I would have blamed it on something else but this thing acted instantly. Files not being able to be renamed was probably the malware messing with file ownership permissions. The user that uploaded the program on Rutracker was гидрокурица, the guy with the picture of the duck seen from below. I trusted the guy because I've downloaded other releases from him and never had an issue. Never downloading anything from him again. Kaspersky failed me spectacularly, a full check after all this told me there were no issues. Hope this helps. Gen Z doesn't care about malware, most have no idea how to scan for it so they're the perfect victims of this type of malware. That's pretty much it.           KpoJluk is the guy who makes FL Studio repacks, he's probably not the one infecting the releases. Someone else adds the malware after in some releases found at different websites. Maybe you have a clean version, you have to check the file for malware and figure out if it's OK or not.

      Day 3:

      All working fine - still running on a virtual machine.

      All running services & connections to my PC have been manually checked with Sysinternals and there are still no signs of anything strange going on.

      All files have been rescanned with AVG & Malwarebytes and there are no detections.

      There was 1 detection on Virustotal for the uninstall.exe file but the other 72 antiviruses that said it was fine. I'm 99% sure it was only flagged due to it having the ability to delete files from your system which an uninstaller is obviously going to do. It was detected by Jiangmin and classed as RiskTool.Qhost.aj.

      Lastly, there have been no signs of any hackers trying to access my accounts.

      Further safety tip: The file uploaded here can be replaced at any time so keep that in mind.
