The u-he Uhbik 2 is a suite of 10 studio-grade effect plugins, offering versatile sound-shaping tools for audio mixing and sound design. It is the updated version of the original Uhbik bundle, with a refreshed user interface, a powerful modulation system, and support for up to 8-channel surround sound.

The Uhbik 2 plugin suite offers a range of effects with deep modulation capabilities:

• Ten processors: The bundle includes Ambience (Reverb), Compressor, Delay, Flanger, Grainshift, Phaser, EQ, Runciter (Filter/Distortion), Shifter (Frequency Shifter), and Tremolo.
• Upgraded modulation: A new modulation system includes multi-wave LFOs, envelopes, and a flexible 128-step Mapper. A drag-and-drop matrix makes assigning modulation sources easy.
• Surround sound support: All effects can be used in multichannel formats, including up to 7.1 surround.
• Modern interface: Uhbik 2 features a fully scalable graphical user interface (GUI) with clearer names for each module, replacing the older, abbreviated system.
• Backwards compatibility: The update is 100% backwards compatible with the original Uhbik plugins, and the upgrade is free for existing license holders. 

Uhbik 2's included modules offer a mix of traditional and experimental effects:

• Uhbik Ambience: A combination of classic plate reverb and early reflections, with four different algorithm modes.
• Uhbik Compressor: Offers both standard compression and an "inflation" mode for enhancing low-level detail. It includes feed-forward and feed-back detection.
• Uhbik Delay: A five-tap delay with per-tap control for time, pan, volume, and feedback. It also features modulation and filters.
• Uhbik Flanger: A classic "through-zero" flanger that can also produce chorus effects.
• Uhbik Grainshift: Features granular pitch-shifting and phase vocoding modes for creating doubling effects or alien textures.
• Uhbik Phaser: Provides up to 42 all-pass filters for rich, sweeping phaser effects.
• Uhbik EQ: A two-band semi-parametric equalizer with automatic Q-factor adjustments for musical results.
• Uhbik Runciter: A filter with added distortion, including fuzz and overdrive options.
• Uhbik Shifter: A continuous frequency shifter that can create otherworldly, spectral effects.
• Uhbik Tremolo: A rhythmic amplitude and panning modulation effect with a user-definable pattern grid.
