Pianoteq 9 by Modartt is a virtual instrument designed to recreate the sound and behavior of acoustic pianos and other musical instruments through physical modeling. Rather than triggering prerecorded samples, its sound engine calculates each note in real time, allowing the instrument to respond dynamically to playing technique, note repetition, sustain pedal use, and interacting string resonances.
