KNOCK by DECAP is a specialized drum processing plugin created by platinum producer and sound designer DECAP. Inspired by the signature sound of the Drums That Knock series, KNOCK brings several essential drum-shaping processes together in one straightforward plugin.

Designed for both producers and mixing engineers, KNOCK can help transform ordinary drum tracks into tighter, punchier, and more impactful sounds without requiring a complicated processing chain. Its streamlined interface makes it easy to quickly shape individual drum sounds, loops, 808s, and full drum tracks.

Powerful Drum Processing

KNOCK features five main processing sections designed to address different aspects of drum sound:

• Punch – Enhances the attack and transient of drums, helping kicks, snares, and percussion sound sharper and more defined.
• Saturate – Adds harmonic distortion and character while compensating for perceived loudness. It includes Soft, Medium, and Hard modes.
• Sub – Generates an additional low-frequency layer when a kick is detected, helping create deeper low-end presence and allowing the sub tone to be tuned to the track.
• Air – Adds smooth high-frequency energy to drum tracks while maintaining a controlled and transparent character. Vintage and Clean modes are available.
• Clip – Provides hard and soft clipping options for adding density, warmth, and aggressive character while keeping the processing under control.

Designed for Modern Drum Production

KNOCK works well with a wide range of drum material, including kicks, snares, drum loops, percussion, 808s, and breakbeats. The combination of transient shaping, saturation, low-end enhancement, high-frequency processing, and clipping allows producers to build a more complete drum-processing chain from a single plugin.
