KNOCK by DECAP is a professional drum processing plugin created by platinum producer and sound designer DECAP. Designed around the sound that made his Drums That Knock series popular, KNOCK gives producers a simple way to make drums sound bigger, harder, and more impactful without relying on a complicated chain of separate effects.

The plugin combines five dedicated processing sections: Punch, Saturate, Sub, Air, and Clip, giving you the essential tools needed to shape modern drum sounds in one interface.

Punch

The Punch section works as a transient shaper, emphasizing the attack of your drums to make them more defined and snappy. It can be particularly useful for drum loops, kicks, snares, and individual drum hits that need more impact and presence.

Saturate

Saturate adds harmonic distortion to your drums while compensating for perceived volume changes. It includes Soft, Medium, and Hard modes, allowing you to add anything from subtle warmth to a more aggressive character. It works especially well with 808s, drum loops, and one-shot samples.

Sub

The Sub section detects kick information and generates an additional low-frequency tone to give your kick more depth and weight. The sub tone can be tuned to the desired pitch, making it useful when you want your kick to sit properly with the key and low end of a track.

Air

Air adds smooth high-frequency presence to drum tracks without introducing excessive harshness. With Vintage and Clean modes, you can give your drums additional brightness and definition while keeping the top end controlled.

Clip

The Clip section provides both hard and soft clipping modes for pushing drums harder while maintaining control over peak levels. The harder curve creates a more aggressive character, while the softer curve produces a smoother and more rounded sound.
