block the program using firewall. download free firewall blocker app like 'Firewall App Blocker', browse Ableton Live 12, make sure put on Incoming and Outcoming.

Make sure after you patch the program, you need to block outcoming and incoming bound using firewall and disable automatic updates of Preference.
