Multiple Algorithms
The "general" algorithm is the work horse and is applicable for most instruments. However, we wanted to eek out the absolute best performance so we created an algorithm specifically for solo acoustic piano and another for distorted guitars.
Built-in Fully Featured Midi-editor
Yes, we realize your DAW already has an excellent midi-editor, but having a built-in editor allows you to tweak the algorithm and see the results without having to do multiple round-trips of dragging the audio into your DAW.
Built-in Piano Playback
Yes, we realize your DAW has way better Instruments than the simple piano sampler we've included in Prism, but it has the same benefits as including the midi-editor does.
Spectrogram View
The spectrogram view provides a finer-grained view than midi notes and can be useful for figuring out guitar-bends, vibrato, etc.
