14. Likely, by default, your DAW isn't allowed access to read and write to your Mac. On the top left, click the apple logo, go to system settings, Privacy and Security, and on the list click "full disk access". Make sure your DAW is added here. I use Ableton, so I have Ableton button turned on.
15. Nearly there!! Open your DAW, create a midi file, and load Omnisphere. It will say something like "It can't find the STEAM folder" - you know what to do :) Click locate or whatever option it gives you, and navigate to your saved STEAM directory where you copied all 8 files to. And volia, it should load all the samples from the library.

I figured it out & it seems to be working on my Macbook Pro (Sequoia).

1: Download "Omnisphere v2.8.5f WIN-MAC-MORiA.rar" above.
2: Download ALL 5 FILES (part 1-5), when you click the "Go File links" above.
3: You should have some type of extraction program, to export the .rar files. You do this by right clicking on a file, and open with your extract software (in my case, I use "The Unarchiver").

4: Export the file from step 1, open the folder, and double click the .iso file to mount it to your Mac.
5: Go to your desktop and you'll see "Omnisphere MORiA" drive. Double click the drive, Open the "Mac" folder, run the .dmg file. Install in recommended directories (This isn't the content library, so don't worry, we can relocate the large directory later).

6: From step 2, you're going to right click the part1.rar file and extract it. NOTE: If all 5 files you downloaded are in the same folder, extracting part1 should extract all 5 for you. We will be working out of this extracted folder for the rest of the steps, so when you see me say "go back to the extracted folder, it's this one".

7: Within this folder, go to "Step 1 - installer" > Mac > and run the omnisphere 2 installer.pkg. Again, use default prompted install locations.
8: Go back to the top level of the extracted folder. Double click ALL 8 of the .iso files to mount them to your macbook. SpectrasonicsOmnisphere2d1.iso, dyn-somni2d2.iso, dyn-somni2d3.iso etc etc.
9. Once all 8 files are mounted, open the first one you mounted on your desktop labeled "Spectrasonics Omnisphere" (the other mounts will all have a letter, like omni A or B etc). Drag the STEAM folder to wherever you want to store your content. Remember, this will be like 60GB of content so maybe store it on a removable drive or something like that.
10. This is the important part. You'll be MERGING all other folders to this STEAM folder. Not replacing or anything else, merging.
11. So with that in mind, open the 2nd drive on your desktop, Omnisphere B. There'll be a folder called STEAM. OPEN this folder, to show a folder "Omnisphere". Drag that folder into the 1st STEAM folder on your drive / wherever you saved it from step 10. Basically, you'll be putting 2 folders named "omnisphere" into the same directory). Your Mac will prompt you "Would you like to replace or merge" - MERGE these files.
12. Repeat this step by opening all the 8 drives, and copying the omnisphere folder into your STEAM folder, and MERGE your contents.
13. When this is done, and all 8 folders have been merged to one folder, go back to the extracted folder. Open the "Step 2 - Data Updater" folder, > Mac > run the .pkg file. Again, use default install locations here.

Mac - I downloaded all the files. But when you mount the 1st of the 8 files, it doesn't run an installer. You can just navigate into the file directory. I was considering manually creating my own steam folder based off what's in the files and then pointing Omnisphere at file, but I doubt that'll work.

Has anyone solved this?
