In Virus and Threat protection, temporarily deactivate real time protection. After extracting your files, read the Install txt file in the folder and follow the instructions. Make sure you locate both the vst3 and dll files after installation and replace them with the crack files. Should do the trick. Remember to reactivate your real time protection afterwards.

Just try downloading the rar files from one of the other links. The GoogleDrive links didn't seem to like that password, but the files from the first link did!

wasnt given the option to replace the file in the destination, did i do something wrong? i got the serum2 that was in the file i believe u were talking about from winrar that u said to get but once i added, it never said it. first try, i did it and it ask but i just clicked out of it and now it doesn't work at all. is that why?

bring { Serum2 } to [C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\Serum2.vst3\Contents\x86_64-win]

*** if you are ever stopped along the way and told a folder already exists with the same name (or sum like that) rename { Serum2 }. I simply renamed it { Serum 2 }, but anything works, just change it back after it is in \x86_64-win. ***

once you bring it there, you should be given the option to replace the file in the destination -- click yes

TL;DR
the file that you need is in the original folder that you downloaded and unzipped from the onedrive link { Xfer Records Serum v2.0.23 (Revision) -X- }

bring that file to [C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\Serum2.vst3\Contents\x86_64-win]

replace the file in the destination. both files are VST3 files named { Serum2 }.

if your computer ever tries to stop you, change the file name of the one you are bringing over, and then change it back. that way, it will prompt you to replace the file in the destination.

if it tells you "folder in use", close FL.

sidenote:
you will know that the file has changed when the time changes from {2025-10-08 12:16 PM} to {2025-11-19 12:25 PM} (at least, thats what it changed from and to for me).
