For anybody who is getting Flex crashing on execution, reinstall FL and do not copy the plugins folder into the new FL; only copy FL64, FL64 (scaled), and the FLengine D.LL, then use the registration key, and it should work. It worked for me

once you install fl26  go to the fl26 wd folder highlight all 4 items and right click and copy them

now on your desktop you will have fl26 shortcut..right click this go to open file location

now paste the 4 items you copied here.. when prompted select replace all 

now go back to your install folder  you will see fl26 reg file (white & blue icon) double click it  just ok everything 

you should be good

when u say copy the contents inside FL_26 1.0.5530-WD do u mean open in notepad and change the contents of it? or move the files that were in that and put it in the same folder where the fl studio application is in?

can i just rule out that you are blocking the right engine_64dll

from this path

fl-wd>plugins/fruity/generators/flex/engine_64dll ?

unblock any other dll you blocked for flex

if that fails delete corrupted files

Yes Sir. I regularly use this website and have never had a single issue. I excluded all dll from antiv in flex folder and had disabled it during installation too. when i click on system info inside the flex folder, it shows some component is corrupted. I tried installing 3 times and repeating steps, the issue is the same.

checklist: 

disabled anti v

blocked engine _64dll from DETECTION (via fl-wd folder)

 installed 

 swapped all files from FL WD FOLDER 

 double clicked reg file (and accepted all changes)

So idk what the problem could be with how i installed it, but i uninstalled it and reinstalled and after everything it still tells me that it's locked and i need to unlock it. idk if u can make a video because the videos don't really help with this type of file if that makes any sense.

The installation videos show that after cutting all the files from that folder, only the "plugins" folder remains, and *that* needs to be moved into "system"—but *not* the "FL_26 WD FOLDER" itself. Please explain that part clearly to me. What about the DLL file that was inside that folder? (Yes, it's the Flex engine DLL; I've already copied it to `packs/flex/packs` and `generators/flex`, etc., and I've even blocked the file in my antivirus for all those paths, yet I'm still getting an error.) Help, please!

For those who wanted to change Registered Name can do it via Text Editor such as Notepad and the likes. Just right-click, "Open with...", and use your Text Editor.

You need to generate an authorization with the keygen. When opening the keygen it asks for this number. After answering the questions, the authorization file will be on your computer. You need to drag the authorization file onto Ableton
