if you already have omnisphere 2, just download omnisphere 3 and turn off all anti virus. now after downloading install it and wait before you press finish✋ now extract the library, copy and paste into C:ProgramData/Spectronics/Omnisphere/Steam 

Now press finish installation of Omnisphere 3 and open your DAW and open Omnisphere 3 and ENJOY!!

if you don’t have Omnisphere 2 it still works!!

copy the the steam folder you extracted and paste it in local disk C/programdata/spectronics/omnisphere/steam

and right click proporties and make sure the thw readable files is unchecked done! enjoy

I got the same issue, so if you have a spare computer, I unrarred it in a Windows computer at it came out to like 51gb, which is still weird because zipped they equal like 61gb, but closer than the 12gb on mac.
