If you have version 2.0.23 already and are running into the authorization problem, try this:

remove the vst3 from "C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\Serum2.vst3"

delete the Xfer folder from C:\Users\Your username\AppData\Roaming

THEN run the 2.1.2 update.

If anyone has issues with "Magic" not being able to renew subscription:
1. Run Sphere Manager. The "commands" folder opens.
2. Run ( double click) "Install Magic - *.cmd" in the "commands" folder for target product.
